“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”

Below are some of the projects and assignments I completed during my studies at the iSchool at Kent State University.  Each one of the projects below aligns with one or more of the iSchool’s Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) which are:

  1. Identify needs and connect individuals and communities with information that engages and empowers them.

  2. Analyze and engage in the changing cultural, educational and social roles and responsibilities of librarians/information professionals and the environments they work in within the global society.

  3. Evaluate systems and technologies relevant to a particular information content.

  4. Apply the field's functional theories, principles, values, ethics and skills to everyday practice.

  5. Critique and synthesize research and identify appropriate research methodologies to solve problems in the field.

In addition, the projects show my skills in the core competencies set forth by the Ohio Library Council for Adult Services.
